Are you interested in joining the Star of the North? All new members are required to audition before they may become a member. The steps to join are

  1. Contact the section leader. You can use our contact form to get a hold of us
  2. The section leader will let you know the date of next rehearsal.
  3. Come 10 minutes early to rehearsal prepared to play for the section leader and one of our music directors
  4. Play a chromatic scale the full range of your instrument
  5. Play something you enjoy to play
  6. Read some music the section leader provides, maybe current repertoire or something they’ve picked
  7. Stay and play the rehearsal with us.
  8. The section leader will let you know if you’ve been accepted.
